That’s because it's loaded with 10 lbs. of ballistic putty that captures and holds your ammo, so you can shoot without the mess or noise of traditional steel traps. It's great for outdoor use, too! We strongly recommend adding a steel backer between the putty and the back panel of the trap. Do not exceed the recommended muzzle energy or reduce the shooting distance.
